The throw blanket at our white elephant gift exchange yesterday was a bit hit! Â Maybe that’s because throw blankets are an inexpensive way to keep warm during this season by keeping the heat down.

If you are a new homeowner, you are probably becoming familiar with the news that the due date for property taxes like the holidays arrive in December.
In our sales meeting on Monday, someone from our team shared that they were going to drive to the city to personally deliver their taxes when I shared the news that you can pay your taxes online. Â Since even our sales team didn’t know about this great option, I thought it was certainly worth sharing with you!
This is a simple way to further your Green efforts  and save time.  Be sure to allow enough time for the payment to process.
Counties offer options to pay by e-check or credit card. Â Some counties do not charge a fee when you pay with an e-check, however there is always extra fee from credit card companies that the counties pass onto property owners. Â See below for more information

If you are like me, you LOVE receiving the holiday cards in the mail.
One of my dearest friends showed me a great way to add the holiday cards to your decorating for the holidays. Â Best part – it just takes some yarn and mini wood clothespins from Michael’s.
I used the hooks at the top of our bookshelves and attached the yarn to either side across the windows in the back of our living room. Â Another option would be to use small picture hangers, also available at Michael’s. Â (more…)
